Peer Review Process

• This journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, with a minimum of two reviewers per article.

• A third reviewer will be consulted in case of disagreement between the first two.

• All manuscripts submitted to this journal will be reviewed and assessed by external referees. Authors will be informed of the acceptance or rejection of their work.

• In case of rejection, the author may submit a revised version for consideration in a future issue.

• Prior to peer review, authors must submit a Letter of Originality and Copyright Transfer, signed by all authors.

• Authors: maximum of 8 authors per manuscript. Languages accepted: Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

• PLAGIARISM POLICY: All submissions are preliminarily reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief. In cases of suspected plagiarism, the manuscript will be automatically rejected.

• Upon publication, authors transfer the copyright and publication rights of their manuscripts to BJOSH.

This is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
